Grace Bay Direct

About

A small portfolio, hosted directly

Grace Bay Direct is a small set of residences on Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. Six homes across three buildings: The Somerset on Grace Bay, The Plaza at Ocean Club West, and Caribbean Diamond in the gated Leeward community.

We host directly. There is no agency in the middle taking a commission for forwarding your email. You write to us, we write back, and the people who answer are the people who keep the keys.

Turks and Caicos has been our home since 2012. We are citizens of this nation, resident here full-time, raising our family on Providenciales. The knowledge we share with guests (which beach, which restaurant, which hour of the day) is the knowledge of people who live here, not people who visit.

The practice

The people behind it

A practice has named people, with named roles. Three layers, each doing its part. Knowing who does what is part of how a stay feels different from booking through a listing.

Curators and voice

Mark and Kiki

Mark and Kiki are the people behind the practice. Both live on Providenciales most of the year. They chose each residence, they shaped how it feels to stay in it, and they write the things you read here. When a guest writes in with a real question, it lands with one of them. They are not a front desk. They are the people whose judgement curated the practice, and they are quietly present in everything that goes out under its name.

Concierge and meet-and-greet

Ruby

Ruby handles the moment of arrival and the small things during a stay. She meets guests at the unit, settles them in, and stays reachable while they are on the island. Naming her here is deliberate. It tells you who you will see at the door and who to call when you need something. It also means Mark and Kiki can be visible as the practice's editorial layer without the brittle promise that one of them is always at the airport.

Property and building teams

On the ground at each building

Each of the three buildings carries its own service layer: housekeeping, maintenance, security at Caribbean Diamond, the resort staff at The Somerset, the strata-level facilities at The Plaza. We pick the buildings carefully and we set the standard inside each unit; the day-to-day service sits within each building's own operating shape. It is part of why the three buildings feel different from one another, and part of why we can host across all three to one standard.

Three buildings

Three operating shapes, one practice

A managed resort, a residential block at a larger resort, and a small gated compound. Each chosen for what it does well.

What we hold to

Grounded excellence

Quality you can feel in the things that matter (the bed, the kitchen, the welcome), without the performative gloss of luxury marketing.

Substantive stewardship

Reef-safe products, local sourcing where possible, and a quiet regard for the islands. Said plainly, done consistently.

Intentional privacy

Six residences, hosted directly. No agency layer. No upselling. Your stay, your pace.

Authentic context

We have been on these islands long enough to know which beach is right at which hour. Ask, and we will tell you.
